PROBABILITIES OF DIFFERENT SHOTS .....
Percentage Bowls
Suppose a Player plays two consecutive draw shots – on the same hand, to the jack, on the centre line. What probability exists that the Player will draw at least ONE bowl (a) within three feet and (b) within two feet of the jack.
What percentage of times will a Player play an Upshot (a Drive or a Swinger) that will hit the target.
How many Upshots do Thirds and Skippers play? If a Player has a toucher, what percentage of times will a bowl slice the jack?
Give an estimate for (a) a Victorian State Player and (b) a Division-One Player for each of the above questions.
