Last year Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) and the National Outdoor Bowls Associations worked together to introduce a simple, fun and successful fund raising initiative.




With the outdoor bowls season soon upon us, and with the endorsement of all the National Outdoor Bowls Associations, we want to build upon these, successes and work with clubs like yours to:



raise funds by staging an easy to arrange event, to help RNIB continue providing help to blind and partially sighted people in your area

run a national final at the end of the outdoor bowls season to find the UK 'Jack in the Box' Champions with £1,400 worth of prizes to be won

help build awareness around the stark reality that sight loss is the most common form of disability in the UK today and affects 1 in 12 people over the age of 60

help raise the profile of bowls as a fun and enjoyable sport to the general public throughout the UK.
